Edit: Didn't see that it was virtually a minraise. It still seems like a bad reverse implied odds situation, and I still might fold, but I'm not really sure.

I'm kind of new to short handed, but is it standard to muck TPTK to a TAGG player when faced with a single flop c/r? It kind of seems like a waste to me. I would concider myself a "Straightforward TAGG player" but I might c/r the flop here with a high FD, OESD, (or some sort of combo draw) or unimproved PP if I think the PFR is just cont. betting with overcards.

Especially given the fact that I have position, and the small c/r makes a 3bet inexpensive I am more inclined to test the villan out and see if he truely likes his hand. But feel free to tell me why this is incorrect.

Bluffs are a big enough part of his range when he flop minraises. I like to raise and cbet alot, standard taggs do not just always fold when they miss.

I think you have to call the river here, very draw heavy flop and nothing got there. He could have T9, 99/77 but it could also be TJ, a busted draw, 88 possibly, etc.

I can see folding to the c/r if you feel it's pot builder not a gut tester.

If you call the turn, I think you have to call the river. Or maybe I mean if you are going to fold the river if you dont fill up, you should probably dump it at the turn.

Folding the river here means you put him on T9/T7/77/99/J8/68. Which means you are drawing to 4 outs. Which means you should have folded the turn, you don't even have implied odds 350:75 or so.

I sometimes find myself calling the turn with a made hand, and then folding on a river card that changes nothing. I think theoretically it can be correct if the chances of your opponent having a winning hand are low enough to justify a call on the turn, but not on the river based on the fact that he's bet twice, and perhaps based on the size of his river bet. That may apply here.
