I'd check/call the river on the chance that he has a higher flush. If you lost this hand, I'm assuming that's what he had.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

I think I could sometimes find a fold on this river.

Your play looks fine, probably fold the river.. what is he gonna have here besides a higher flush? Hard to fold this though..

If you looked at my line, does it look like a flush? Because i was trying to conceal it by leading out-or does my lead out make it look like i was on fd on flop and turn?

A lot of players lead with flush draws now - it's just not very concealing. Hard to put him on anything but a flush, from his megabet on the river. I agree with Fnord, I could find a fold here - but it would be a crying fold for sure. I haven't folded flushes often on unpaired boards, but if ever there was an occasion that looked like a fold, this was one.

Can we really find a fold against an unknown? There were no reads, stats, etc. posted in the OP, Id be hardpressed to find a fold here against an unknown, but maybe thats a leak on my part.

In a 5-way pot where it was very apparent that a flush was the winning hand, and my flush was only eight high, and my opponent was pushing after I strongly led all three streets... I think I could find a fold against this here unknown.

If this was raised pre-flop I would almost never get away from this. In an unraised multi-way pot, we need to seriously consider that our hand is no good.

If the hand played out the same way but we had a queen high flush would we call the push?
  11. #11
Grey area; I'm definitely calling with the king high, and probably with the queen high as well. Beyond that it gets very questionable.

Anyone check/call a value bet, fold to a push on this river?

I'd say you made a good assumption.....
