    Default Poker Tracker Question

Is there a way to delete a hand from your database? What happened was I was playing multiple tables, and it switched to the other table. I had QJ, so I called, not realizing it had been raised. (If I'd known that I would have folded; I thought I was limping in.) So I want to remove this hand and the loss of 6 big blinds from my records.

You really shouldnt delete a hand every time you mess up, if we all did that then our stats would look perfect, but we would still have leaks. Yea, you made a mistake and didnt do it on purpose, but you still lost the money so your database should account for that. I personally use pokeroffice, so I dont know how to remove a hand from pokertracker, but Im sure it could be done [again i would advise against it though]. In the future Id suggest posting on the pokertracker forums any questions about their software.

These sort of mistakes are also part of 'variance', so you have to leave them in. You might have also won some money because an opponent misclicked. Are you going to delete those because it is unfair? Just leave it in man, even if you find out how you can remove it. I lost a buy-in a week ago because my laptop decided to call an all-in against my will. Whatever, it makes my record look less pretty but it happened so it's in there.

I would like to know that too - for other reasons - I've mixed up hands from different buyins into one database.

The only thing I can think of is to create a new database and reread in the hands you want, assuming you've saved your handhistories.

One database can handle lots of different buyins, which you can sort as you wish - I don't see your problem, dickie?

(mine covers about 9 different buyins from $10NL to $100Nl - the only problem I have is that I never thought to separate 6max from FR and now it's too late)

I just find that using one database gets real sluggish - so I like to seperate everything into seperate databases.
