    Default Too passive?

Turn and river line checks, please. This might be standard, so it is a little bit of a sanity check too.

I don't think I should have bet turn because that would have been asking for trouble.

Bet on river seemed weak, so I called. How often am I beat? Should I have raised river?

I think you did fine here. If he doesn't have the Q, he's gonna be scared of it.. so your aces have less value here.

okay, how bout the rest of the hand? More of a reraise PF (maybe to $5 ish) and more on the flop (to full pot)?

I hadn't played many hands, but I hadn't been at the table long. Seemed to be a little passive though....

    Your loosing, lolololololololololol
I think I play this about the same. I feel like I'm too passive sometimes, though.

Raising to only 2x BB is never a good play. Make it $2 to go.

The way PokerRoom HHs go out is a little crazy actually. This is a $25 table and .25 BB. They must put on the history the big bet instead of big blind. I'm not sure. Anyway, I raised 4xBB. That's my standard opener unless a bunch of limpers are in front of me. Then I pop it up accordingly.

I raise more pre-flop and push on this flop.

Ah ok, well you asked for a turn and river line check. Preflop I reraise more. Triple his raise or something (seeing how your initial $1 was already in the pot). That would make the flop play totally different, but as played, I think it's personal preference. Simply depends on what you want to achieve. You played it calmly, to keep him in the hand here - and the turn fucked you over. Too bad. You could have also potted it on the flop, but I don't think it's "better" perse. I mean, if the turn was a blank, you might have extracted more value this way. It's mainly the preflop action that was too passive imo.

Ya, initially I just was worried about turn and river, then I started thinking about the rest of the hand....

    He turned over AK, btw....
