    Default 2 Live Hands

    9/18 Commerce

    Hand 1:

    Loose/Passive table.

I limp JTs UTG, 2 callers, kind-aggro raises from the CO, can't remember what the SB did, he might have even folded. Loose/passive on a rush with deep money sez "You raised, well then I HAVE to 3-bet" He might have even sighed. I think someone caps it quite a lot to boot, so I fold.

    Hand 2:

Semi-Tight table with a live one. Live one has some nice eye candy on his shoulder who he is letting him play for him. My table image is tight.

I raise A Q from MP. Live one calls out of the BB.

    Flop is Q 7 3

Check, bet, live one tells his girlfriend to call.

    Turn is 3

Check, bet, live one tells his girlfriend to raise.

Call this down? I've yet to see him raise without the goods, but this is a funny spot.

JTs for a 5 way cap? I think I'll take a gamble with that one.

What are you putting your OP on in hand 2? The 3 or the made flush? I'm always a person to call down as I've seen this done with a weak Q.

    1. I fold.

    2. Did either one look at their chips after the flop or the turn?

    1. I fold.

    2. This is pretty tough, especially since I don't have any live experience at all and I'm not sure how to take the situation with the guy with the chick or whatever. You mentioned he hasn't raised without the goods so far, but could "the goods" here be a lower queen? I'm not sure how to perceive that information. I think the betting doesn't make sense for a flopped flush, and QQ isn't likely b/c of the call preflop. I'd say 77 or a lower queen, and there's more lower queens than 77s, so my inclination is to call.

    Hand 1: fold looks good.

Hand 2: Depends what you mean by him only raising "the goods". Could it be something like QxKs, QxJs, or even KoQo?

To me, the action could just as likely be him showboating a flopped flush as a top pair/good kicker or worse. Mike Caro tells us that people who share a hand with someone generally have a strong one, but this is a slightly different case since she is playing for him. All in all, I would probably call it down though.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
