Your line is just fine. You made the nutflush. Had you not, easy fold.

what site do you play at?

At the flop I was thinking AJ, or maybe some pp that hit, but his turn bet is kinda weak. Maybe he wants to lead you on, as he seems oblivious to any possible flush-chasing. Or he's chasing his own flush. But he has to know you hit something on that flop after your preflop raise, so he probably has you beat. Whatever it may be, I'd definately reraise him $80 at the river.

Another idea is that he hit a boat on the turn, which could explain his carelessly low bets to make sure you tag along. So probably your call was best afterall here.

(folding is obviously not an option here, since you only need to pay 1/4 of the pot and only the boat has you killed, while a whole range of other hands could explain his betting, assuming he didn't regard the flush as an option, and you have all of them beat)

3 bet all in on the flop.

I agree. You want as much money to go in on that flop as possible. I also bet a little more on the flop like 22-25, so it's easier to get all in.

Hm, aren't you the least bit scared of AA/KK/KQ/KT/QT here? Since he called 8BB and reraised on that flop, there's a good likelihood he's on that range. Or would the 1/3 you got for your flush on turn+river outweigh that?

First of all his preflop raise was only 4xbb, not 8x. This is one of the sweetest flops you could possibly hope for with AKs. Why does a donkish minraise scare you so much? Sure that sucks if he has a set, but against 2-pair we are actually a favorite.

Hmm, 3-bet all-in sounds nice. My equity was bigger than I thought. After the minraise I felt I were behind (no reasonable hand I beat) so I just called. Turn card sucked so I called down, turn bet screamed boat too.. River card made me pay off (a Jack would do that too). Villain showed KK.

I'll 3-bet that. Don't make your life difficult. You flopped big, put money into the pot and be happy.

Can you fold the turn to the gayest card possible? The only way that card helps you rather than hurts you is if villain has KT. Most guys don't call OOP with that. If he had AJ he would have bet more to see if his hand was still good in order to develop a river plan.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.
