Often I raise the flop, depends on what I think of BB.

a little town called none of your goddamn business
Great thing about this situation is on the flop you are a favorite over just about any hand (a set might have a small edge). The sucky thing about it is its only like a 5% favorite. The past few times I have had a sf draw I have played super aggressively with them, trying to get as many chips in on the flop as I can, since its one of the only situation in poker where you are positive that you are a favorite.

Unfortunately, my sfds have been on the negative site of variance and I have been stacked the last three times I have done this.

I would usually reraise after flop here. You can build a pot and many times buy yourself a free card on the river.

This is about as hard as you are going to hit a flop with a 56s short of a flopped nut straight. Raise to at least $6 here.

Turn sucks, and if he's aggro enough to play 2 hearts this fast out of the BB, I think you should just muck here. Against most, this looks like a pair of aces or 2p, and I like the call. 15/46 to make a hand. Really though, a flop raise is infinitely better then calling down.

    River card and action?

If I raised the flop, and flush card comes on the turn, this may kill my action, thats why I just called.

I didn't like making the turn call --- but I thought if I hit the straight I would get paid off, Flush card may kill the action.

River was a black 8. He bet into me (pot), I minimum raised, he reraised all -in I called, he showed 2 pair A4

Jay, I hope I just read your last post wrong. You think RAISING after the flop will "kill" your action once a flush card drops on the turn, but CALLING won't? When you raise or reraise on a flush or straight draw you are representing something better than a draw. Then when your draw hits you can usually get paid off MORE. A call is just SCREAMING draw.

Given, some people w/ still see through your raise/reraise draw move, but most won't, trust me.

    Two questions:

Any reason for minraising instead of going all in? I still can't get a feel for which is the right choice. Obviously you picked the right one; I'm just wondering what the thought process was.

Would you have just called down if the Th came off? How about the 2h or Ah? I just don't know how frisky to get with the low flush. I guess the way he was betting screamed that he was protecting his A or set.

good points, I usually bet/raise my draws on the flop, don't know why I didn't here. Just in the wrong mindset at the time I guess.
