Default Am I getting married to my hand?

Anyone plays this differently? Am I too attached to my hand?
I was going to go all-in myself, but is an all-in call ok too?
Early in the tourney, no reads really.

I like 5x this early pre flop, and a little stronger bet on the flop with 4 opps in, especially since you already have action.

I smell KQ but a call is OK, there are a lot of hands you beat. This early, especially in an 11 (but really anywhere) I want to be sure when I lay down AA. QQ and KK seem wildly unlikely, so you're really just worried about 22 33 KQ. Que sara. Plus you have some outs against KQ.

I've been reading Gordon lately and he talks about not going broke with simply top pair or overpair. STarting to think he makes some sense.

Smells like KQ to me but that's from cold subjective opinion. It'd be tough to lay down when it could easily be a pair with a draw.

I agree on both points here. I have recently started raising my big hands 5 - 7xBB early in the tourney as fish don't have a hard time calling 3-4xBB. Also, on the flop, by the time the bet gets to you the pot is at 400 chips. You should have put in about a 500 -600 chip raise to get rid anyone who isn't serious about their hand.

I wouldn't be suprised to see a donk turn over Ax of Diamonds or AK.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

I'd be very surprised to see Ax of diamonds...
    Seeing I'm holding the A
More seriously, thanks for the tips. My concern is that in my recent experience, 5-6 BB raises tend to get folded around. I just tried that out with two more AA hands, and that was the result. I won 80 chips and 70 chips. Not quite what I had in mind.
I really want 1 to 2 callers here, which is what I was trying to get.
Flop was dangerous, I agree, but I do have a redraw in case of a diamond on the turn. I'm also giving bad enough odds for the flush as it is, I think (not that this stops the donks from chasing).
