If I assume no one has anything, maybe a 4 (slowplay the turn), or a weak T
    Check Call vs. Lead

If I check call wat im hoping for is that someone with a T will bet, an ace will bet that I beat will bet, a bluff will bet, a 4 will bet. I beat 3/4 of those hands.

If I lead, hands wont bluff, people who dont have anything will fold anyways, the 4 will reraise me.

Looking at this it seems like check calling is the best option here. I can pick up more chips overall.

Am I missing out on something?

well played...........play it the same with a paired board...i dont want to get reraised so i dont bet....and you can pick off bluffs.........

i like it, leading = better hands call you. check/calling gives them a chance to bluff, or lose as few chips as you could.

    push pre flop an option?

River is (well played) standard, you'll be at the 30s in no time.

What is driving to a check/call versus check/raise? I know the board is paired, which is always a concern, however is the 9 kicker a concern as well?

Are you hoping that with a flat call the player behind you will call as well?

With TPMK is check/raising getting greedy and a bad idea in case you are being trapped?
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

I think you played it fine. The push pre-flop is an option, but not a mandatory.

Thats a damn good question, and I hav yet to think about check call vs check raise.

Iv only been thinking about betting out vs check raising.

What do you are some good circumstances for check raising the river?
If you coud, how would u rearrnage this hand into a situation where a check raise on the river is good?
Ill probably go read the overcalls section in SSHE right now while i take a dump.
Thanks for bringing up the thought!

wat are some good situatinos to C/R on the river? WHy are they appropriate?

when you have a massive hand and are convinced someone else will bet, who won't call. Even better if said bet commits them to call with middle pair or something.

Or you've seen someone who will lead them fold the river - usually this would be someone who you read for a (now busted) draw. but the only reason to raise here rather than call is if YOU have a busted draw too.

That's about it. If you never CR on the river, you won't be missing out on much IMO.
