These two hands are from a Live $20.00 buyin weekly tournament - 30 to 40 people play. I rate myself as a solid patient player, but I'm missing some key ingredient to bring it up a notch. I would like to hear how a winning player would play these hands:

Hand 1 :

Blinds are 400/800 :

I'm Dealer with 7200 chips

5 players at table - 11 left in tournament.

SB had around 13000 chips
BB had around 6000 chips

SB is a solid player - very tight early game - but loosening up late game.
BB is a maniac.

I have A-K offsuit on the button - everybody folds to me - I bet 2400

SB calls
BB calls

Flop : 10-7-4 rainbow

SB goes all-in
BB calls

Dealer - ????

Hand 2 :

Final table :

6 players left - top 5 pay

Blinds : 800/1600

I'm BB with 4800 chips
Dealer has 600 chips left !

I get A-9 suited

UTG has a huge stack, is a weak player who bluffs a lot and is bullying the table. To get to where he is, he's obviously been running good.

He raises to 3200 - everyone folds to me.

What do I do (If I win the pot - I'll have 3rd largest stack on table) ?
Previous hand he made same raise with A-7 offsuit .

Thanks in advance,

Martin
