    Default Bankroll for wild sites.

Hi. I registered here a while ago but I have hardly posted anything.

I mainly play Everest Poker and I switch between 2/4, .50NL and 2NL depending on my mood and how well I feel I'm playing. For those of you who do not know, this is a site chock full of hyperaggressive, hyperloose players. Some of them have some talent, some have not. It is not at all uncommon to see a pot where someone bets $20 into a $20 dollar flop, gets reraised all-in for $200 more and calls with a 5 high flush draw against something like top set. If you think I'm overexaggerating, you haven't played there.

This is a site that can be very, very profitable, but it's also a site where you have to expect HUGE swings. Since many, many players there raise all in on their draws, you need to be able to make tough calls (which are sometimes, of course, wrong) and you always run a decent risk of losing each hand even if you have the goods.

What I am asking is what kind of bankroll you would feel appropriate for NL games on this site. I have heard the recommendations of 15-20 max buyins... and I agree that on most sites this would be quite ok, but I feel I need more in this particular place.

    Should there be any difference?

    Sincerely, T.

Whatever you feel comfortable with, I would probably go for at least 20-25, but you might feel better if you have 30. It's all about the comfort zone, but I would not go under 20 (and move down if I reach 20 for the level below me)

20 should be plenty. And yes I know exactly the type of tables you mean. Many multii way pots regardless of 4-5xs BB raise etc.

Best strategy for that is to camp and wait for your QQ+ ; and play any pair for the set. Any other hands save up for those rare occasions where most of the table folds and you can mix it up with some lesser holdings.

20 buy-ins should easily allow you to get your AA cracked a few times by raggy 2 pair and runner runner flush and still have room to continue to play aggressively.

If you TILT, you may need more.

I play at a crazy site and 20 buy-ins does me. I'd say as long as you have >20 its just down to your where your own comfort zone is.
