    Default I hate this situation..........................

    Picture this classic sandwich play:

    I am in late position in a .25/.50 cash game. Let's say I have $85 on the table. I am up $35 in the first hour and have been playing a tight game at a LOOSE table. I won 3 times with QQ, a set of 9s and a flopped straight on the BB.

    I now have AK suited in spades which I bet $3 on and got 2 limpers ( the first is a rock, the second is a maniac bluffer based on notes from previous games and the fact that he sees EVERY flop!!! ) call.

    The pot is $10.

    The flop is Ah8s8h.

    The first limper bets $3 . He could have the 8 but if he I see him betting that more then $3.................... This EP bet scares me a bit tho, maybe the 2nd limper will call/fold and then I will be even more confused (probably confused enough to kiss it good-bye).

    But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...................

    The second limper raises $10. Making the pot $26. He is all-in. F.......... me running!

    I now have Top Pair and a dilemma.

    WTF to do?

    I put the first guy on an 8 or a flush draw.

    I put the second guy, the maniac, on anything, but he could have an 8, he probably has my Ace though................

    Now what do I do?

    My image, at this very loose table, is dangerous, having shown down some serious hands early on to let them know I wasn' t kidding around, didn't work well enough to get me H2H with someone which would have been my preference.

    The rock has $40 left btw

    Understand - my cash game has improved dramatically lately on Poker.com, Titan/Noble and PokerHost so I am not exactly cared by the bet, but I don't see throwing $40 into this one either, if the rock goes all-in with an 8 after his semi-teaser initial bet.

    Talk amongst yourselves.............................

    If you call, limper1 is getting 5 to 1 to chase a flush.

    If you call, limper1 can push over the top and render your hand worthless.

    If you raise, limper1 may fold a flush draw and you may still lose to limper2 having you strangled.

    If you raise, limper1 may call and have you drawing as thin as to need running kings. If he has 8X then you are about a about a 6.5 to 1 dog.

    One pair doesn't look so good to me here. Cut your $3 loss and don't risk another 10. Almost the best case scenario you can hope for here is to be a coinflip - and more often than not you're in a much worse shape.

    Code:
    Board: Ah 8s 8h
    Dead:

            	equity (%)  	win (%)	tie (%)
    Hand  1:	52.3071 %  	45.74% 	06.57%      { AsKs }
    Hand  2:	11.8863 %  	05.32% 	06.57%      { AcQc }
    Hand  3:	35.8066 %  	35.77% 	00.04%      { KhQh }
    I guess if you feel you're in this good a shape then you have the correct odds to play.

    In order for you to win, you have to believe the maniac has nothing. Not even an ace. If you believe the maniac has at least an ace, then what is the solid player betting on as first act on an A88 flop?

    I think your solid player has the ace, and your maniac has the eight since he calls preflop with anything. You can't put a rock on an eight after a strong preflop raise. Either one could have the draw, but I'm folding here.

    It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
    Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

    I agree with all the other losers. Even if someone IS trying to bluff you it is not worth it with only $3 in the pot and multi-way action. Let it good and find a better situation.

    I'm glad to see that the consensus supported my cheap decision to fold.

    Turns out the rock had quads and he sank the maniac BADDDDDDDDDD.
