Default I not good so all comments on this hand much appreciated

This is a $5 +.5 MTT with about 366 participants. I'm playing about 2 100NL tables at the same time, so I'm not paying much attention to the tournament - the money doesnt interest me until top 2 but I'm trying to play my best anyways. What do you do in my place at all stages of the hand?

you are probably beat and should fold. if the field is really really aggro-fishy you can push.

in a $5 mtt i'm gonna push, unless that's like the 2nd hand Mikey Hr has played all tourney.

    I don't follow.
Does this mean that he raised the $150 blind to $400, you raised to $650, he re-raised to $900?

So you minraised him and he minraised you back?
    A) I don't like the minraise. depending on your read here, you need to raise to around $800 or just call. (Depending on the range you think he has)
    B) As played you can't fold. There is $1475 in the pot and it costs you $250 to call.
If you put him on exactly AK, you should only call, and push any flop of undercards.
If you put him on AA-JJ and AK, you should play the same, folding to a flop push by him.
If you put him on AA/KK You should still call, folding any time you don't hit a set.

Regardless, in every case, your correct play is to call.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

A push is incorrect unless you add AQ or below, and pairs below yours to his 3 betting range.
Even against fish, this is rare. loose passives call to much, not re-re-raise.

I just call the first raise and then make some decisions based on what the flop is and how much his continuation bet is.

With QQ? Well whe the blinds are 75/150 I'm not going to be too happy with just 2.3k in chips. I would push following his raise. If he folds, you add a fifth of your stack, if he calls, you'll be unlucky to be dominated.

    2 ways to play.
    1) call since you are the button and play the flop.
    2) raise, but original reraise should be to between 1000-1200. Push anything after that.

You'll have position and he's not gonna fold to your AI so just call and see the flop, then take it from there. That's when the tough decisions happen....

I have nothing to add to this thread so I'll just make this random post.
