    Default Hey guys

    Long time, no see. I've been on a sebatical (sp?) for several months, and just recently started playing actively again. I've actually managed to re-vitalize my bankroll by having a great weekend of poker so I should be around for the forseable future.

    Anyway, I've decided I should give myself an attaboy for my wins. Right now I'm thinking about what form that should take.

    Budget is $500. Items listed above, hopefully I can add more with some good suggestions from the crowd.

    Purpose is to give myself a real item I can see/touch/appreciate to validate my "work" playing poker.

    While you play online poker, you stare at a monitor for hours. Your can improve your life hours each day (and possibly improve your income) by purchasing a large, bright, high resolution monitor.

    Hey Spook, long time no see. I've not been making it onto vent enough lately but it's a goal of mine to start showing up more.

    Anyway, I voted for the new monitor. I have a two-monitor setup and am able to eight table easily even with a crappy resolution. I so wish I had 1600 x 1200 capabilities, that would be sweet.

    I'm not sure what to vote for.

    The monitor is a great investment for better enjoyment in future poker and more winnings.

    However, I feel like you really emphasized that you want some sort of gift to justify your poker work. To me, this sounds like something that should be unrelated to poker. That's why I'm not going to vote for the monitor because it still embodies the poker world. What you want is something that is a result of poker but a cause of non-poker happiness.

    With that being said, I like the ipod and clothes idea. Nothing like a nice outfit that you will feel good about wearing everytime because poker earned it for you.

    I voted other.

    Get yourself some nice poker chips and build yourself a table, if you don't have these things already. Pretty cool to show off nice stuff when you are having the home game. If you already have the chips and table then go for a new monitor.
