Hi, Im not new to poker or to playing online but i did have a question regarding getting started. Are there any ways other than an using a credit card to play online and if so can you explain the processes and the various methods you've used. Which are reliable nad which arent etc..

Some poker sites will take money orders or Western Union (pokerstars for example). Thats how I got started.

Yeah i just read about the western union thing. Do i have to visit a branch office to do that or do they have a place online?

And if so can you describe the process breifly? What info they require etc.

Is anyone on FTR from Australia?
If so, what's the best cash out option? (I'm thinking cheque or NetTeller if that's acceptable with the banks here?). I'm probably going to just use credit card to deposit or I may set up a NetTeller account if that's a good way to cash out as well...

Western Union has a web site and you can do it from there with a credit card. My bank won’t do business oversees so that was the only domestic site I could find to use my credit card. It worked like a charm but cost me $15 in service fees.

Check out www.neteller.com. You can link it to your bank account and it is very fast, and safe. It works similar to paypal if you are familiar with that.
