Are there good holdem calculators that help you figure pot odds faster?

As a beginner, I've found that they help you learn the odds as a very general guideline. I've used Texas Calculatem, Poker Tracker and Poker Office. Texas Calculatem is more easily understandable when you're new, but a lot of poker rooms are banning it(something about it violates the terms of agreement). I used Texas Calculatem for MAYBE a week. Poker Tracker and Poker Office are great for keeping long term track of opponents, i.e. it remembers every opponent and continuously updates information as you play. The odds info with Tracker and Office is very thorough, after a while, I just didn't need them to figure outs and odds. I would recommend trying Poker Office as a demo, and by the time the demo expires, you'll probably have a good grasp on odds. Whew, there you go. My $.02. |
