The Mythical Strong Post Flop Play
Been reading a lot on these boards about the importance of strong post flop play. I am just finding it hard to actually find out what strong post flop play really is. I'm not trying to be stupid here, but I have been using the information, posts, and advice to re-learn this game properly, and I do not want to assume that I understand anything at all unless it has been specifically spelled out or described.
So what are the attributes of someone that has strong post flop play as part of their arsenal? Does it simply mean having a knowledge of pot odds and implied odds? Or does it go much deeper than that?
Most discussion seems to center around preflop play anywhere poker is discussed. I really want to understand just exactly what makes a great player or solid player once that flop comes down. Then the turn, then the river.
Any insight greatly appreciated. Maybe even some links to threads here that really get into it?
