I know that, don't worry
I agree. Just a couple of things I think are worth mentioning:
1 - I've beaten 25nl(and 50nl and 100nl). But that was years ago(pre and post black friday). Right now I'm starting from the bottom...
Without your read that he sees you as weak/tight, I'd probably fold turn. With that read it's a call(turn).
By the river and considering that read again, it makes a lot of sense that he wouldn't...
Ok, this is my range analysis:
Preflop Limp/Call range: 66-22, A7s-A2s, K7s+, Q8s+, J7s+, T7s+, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, 54s, ATo, K9o+, QTo+, JTo, T9o
He´s hitting the flop with TP+ or a good draw...
My 27% came from adding incorrectly and doing 0.60/2.24 instead of 0.60/2.44. I should have realized it was over 25% and didn´t make sense, however I did not realize that, I´m a little rusty I guess....
Villain is LAG Fish 35/16/5.9 over 43 hands. WTSD 27% and W$SD 33%. He has donked 3/5 times before. Unfortunately I did not see what he had those times.
I was in call down mode(I had seen him fold...
Another question:
¿Do you see a problem with my red line? ¿Is it okay to be negative?
I realize that changing that would probably involve a big change in my overall style(I´m confortable being...
My thoughts exactly. But theoretically it makes sense, right?
Ok. I´ll take a look at missed river calls and post some hands.
Also, even though it kind of feels counterintuitive, I should be looking for missed opportunities to bluff the river. Am I right?
Ok, little intro first: I´ve played before all the way up to 200NL. Life got in the way, I now have a family, a house and a lot less time to play/study. Anyway I decided to give it a shot starting...
Fold pre /thread
As played call. It´s close but I expect this unknown villain to bluff enough.
Regarding bet sizing, I always think of these 2 formulas that I´d like to share for when we want to get the rest of our stack in by the river:
Leaving a 1/2 pot sized bet OTR
(Remaining...
1st hand: I like a 0.60 bet OTR
2nd hand: raise more pre 4bb+1/limper should be your default if not more at 2NL. Shove river.
Hi M2M, good to see you around.
I´m trying to get back to playing again after a long period. I don´t meet your requirements right now, but I´d like to suggest you share some of the analysis here...
Look at the action Preflop + Flop, do you really think he has those hands in his range?
1) Sizing is OK IMO.
2) No. Villain is stationy and definitely has worse hands that are calling. Vbetting turn and river(not too large bets) is optimal I think.
3) Yes, you´re behind when he raises.
My first thought is to b/f flop and turn, re-eval river(probably check/fold and rely on the EV of the hand prior to that street). I´d definitely bet larger than standard the flop(6bb), to make a...
so....where´s the red pill?
Nice. I took a week off. I´m there now and will be pretty often.
k, cool. I´ll check that out then. Just trying to get back to the game, playing 10NL in a few tables.
Good to here from you too. Nice articles as always, i´ve been reading and re-reading these...
Hi everyone. I´m an old reg from this site. What happened to the IRC room? I used to be there frequently...
my bad. I thought UTG was the nit.
Just fold...
Why do you 3b pre?
Makes perfect sense to me. I would check too.
Really interesting article.
