• Forum Rules

The Forum Rules can be found in the top left of every page. Please acquaint yourself with these rules before you start posting - ignorance is not an excuse

• Posting

We have the following posting restrictions in place for new members:

- A CAPTCHA image test each post for the first 3 posts
- A maximum of 5 posts a day for the first 15 posts
- At least a 2 minute wait between each post for the first 15 posts
- IMG and URL tags not allowed for first 10 posts (smilies are)
- No private messages until you have 10 posts

If you want to post hands from our Hand Convertor, please make sure you remove the URL from the top of the converted hand history!

• Stickies

Most of our sub-forums have two highlighted stickies each - one thread containing any specific rules for that sub-forum, and one thread called a "Digest" containing links to the best threads.

The Beginner's Circle also contains a helpful FAQ thread if you are new to poker or poker forums!

To access our exclusive events where we give away thousands of dollars each month, you must become a FTR Qualified Member.

I'd have found it helpful if the CAPTCHA thing told you when it came up that it was for the first 3 posts.

Forum rules usually have a lot of text and say much the same thing -since I'm not a troll/spammer I don't generally care what the details are and wouldn't remember them from forum to forum anyway. They're something I only bother to read if I'm considering a post that I think might be dodgy for some reason.

I did find the CAPTCHA thing annoying enough that I came looking to see what cookie or script I needed to enable to get rid of it.

Howdy everyone, My name is eric I go by emk4976 or emk4976texas on the sites I play poker on. I started playing online poker back in 2007. I like some seen the money maker effect on espn when they showed the WSOP. I live in middle of Texas so its a long drive to a casino to play in either New Orleans, LA or in Durant, OLK. I won a seat in 2009 to play in the 2010 WSOP bracelet event in Las Vegas. I went on to cash in 2/3 bracelet events. I try to go play every year in there circuit events held in New Orleans ,LA. I hope to one day to turn pro before black Friday hit. When that happened it hurt a lot of the USA players like myself who was withdrawing on a monthly bases from FTP and Stars and a few other sites. Glad to be a part of this poker community. Best of luck in life and on the felts to everybody.
