Default Winning the maximum with a full house ($10NL).

What is the best way to play this hand to get the maximum from it? Should I call the turn raise, or just shove it all in now? Villain was 35/23 over 53 hands. I will have $11.20 remaining if I call. Also, are the flop and turn bet sizes ok?

    Hold'em No Limit ($0.05/$0.10)

    Hero: ($20.70)
    CO: ($5.70)
    Button: ($26.45)
    SB: ($7.30)
    BB: ($5.60)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG with T , T .
Hero raises to $0.40, 1 fold, Button calls $0.40, 1 fold, BB calls $0.30

    Flop: ($1.25) 7 , T , 9 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.10, Button calls $1.10, 1 fold

    Turn: ($3.45) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $2, Button raises to $8, Hero ??

Click it back - if he just calls, shove the rest in on the river. Or shove. He's not folding after his turn raise very often.

just raise, he seems to want to get it in

The better question is: Is it possible to *not* get all the money in the pot here? You could call/shove the river, you could click it back, you could just shove over here.

The only thing I don't recommend is checking the river... ever.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

Unfortunately you don't have position on him otherwise you could let him bluff 1 more time by flatting the turn, since the guy overbets the turn and letting him bet would be more profitable. In this case I would have min raise on turn not to scare him and make 2/3 pot-bet on the river.

I'd call turn, bet small (about $4) on river. A small bet he might call out of curiousity or try to scare you off with a raise

If you shove turn, you scare off hands that might be calling or rasing a small bet on the river.

And I think your flop and turn bets were fine.

Against some aggro reg I might timebank call and check the river, against others I could see calling and shoving the river (although I'd never do it). Here I'd just shove, CiB seems stronger than shoving.

if you click it back you're basically saying you have the nuts

Well this guy is not normal, he overbet the turn. minraise on turn, he will explode

Call his turn raise. He is first to act on river so he most likely will go allin due to pot size. You got him cooked. Hopefully, he has jack9 and u have him colddecked. If he has a straight then if the river puts up 2 pair he could possibly get away from his straight by checkfolding. But highly unlikely as nl10 players don't like folding above average hands. A straight is above avg in absolute strength, even if 2 pair on board he will checkcall you on river lol so you got him cooked.

so if he has J9 he might c/f a two pair river and call a shove on the turn?
maybe we should shove the turn

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

My thinking was he had a big hand himself, as lots of these players seem to get overly excited with big hands, and raise too much. I also thought what spenda and iopq mentioned, that clicking it back looked way stronger than shoving it all in. Loads of $10NL players see an all-in as a weaker hand, and usually call, especially after putting so much in already.

    I shoved, he folded. D'oh!

does think tank cold call turn / shove river loose too much value?
