OK...
so here is my deal.

I have been playing poker off and on for a few years. mostly down...but not a lot.

I lost my job a month ago.
I am not going to stop looking for a job...but could use some money in the mean time.
I have been playing on PS for a while...and I have a couple hundred bucks in there. I got that from an initial deposit a few weeks ago of $25.00 that I grew.

Here is what I know about myself.
1. I have tended to play a little too loose and aggressive.
2. I often make calls or bets when I know I am beat because I have a hand (i.e. pocket 9's and flop is K/J/6 and I bet or call bets...)
3. I thought i knew about poker until I come here and see all the things you guys talk about. Concepts I have not thought about. Things like how many hands in a week. Wins per hands. What limit you should play in relation to your bankroll. a schedule to play and scheduled breaks etc. And other statistics you watch that I never have.

So here is the question.
I have several hours a day to play...and a couple of hundred bucks...
Where do I start? what kind of schedule do you guys try to follow?
How many hands a week is good?
I seem to do better in cash and DON's...
MTTs i seem to play I think good...but obviously i am playing a little too loose before all the true fish are gone and I loose pocket Q's to a 9/k all in who hits a str8 with the 9.

What else do I need to know? How can I maximize what I am trying to do here.
I know the number one thing is keep myself playing the way I know how, and not getting impatient or forgetting math still applies...Seems like I can play about 3 hands at a time max...

Thanks.
Hope I dont sound too much like an idiot.
I figure there are enough people here that could help me...no use in me not being totally honest about where I am.

Thanks.
