They're about the same. 1 gappers are aboue 0.3% less likely to flop a straight and 2.5% less likely to flop an 8 out draw. However, when they do flop a straight/straight draw the hand will be much more disguised so it balances out.

This is of course only true for connectors that are away from the edge. Like, 24s isnt as likely to flop draws as 68s for instance.
