Default Should this have scared me?

Villain is a laggtard with 70/15. Usually overbets the pot when he hits the flop. However he limps/completes with practically ATC.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (4 handed) -

    Button ($5.73)
    SB ($2.39)
    Hero (BB) ($4.85)
    UTG ($4.39)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 10, A
2 folds, SB calls $0.01, Hero bets $0.06, SB calls $0.04

    Flop: ($0.12) 2, A, 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.06, SB calls $0.06

    Turn: ($0.24) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.22, SB raises to $0.44, Hero ???

    call
    he could have a 5
    or absolutely nothing
raising only makes him fold his air
hope he bets the river with air and snap him off?

Im opedipus bitch, the original balla.
If his stats are dependable, then I'm likely calling and re-evaluating the river. Generally turn c/raises are the pretty much the nuts; however, if the dude is 70/x, he could show up with just about anything from 2x to hands like 77 to draws and total air.

I also bet the flop bigger, like $0.09.

Bet more money on the flop, less on the turn. I'm calling the turn and letting him string himself up on the river.

Check raises at this level almost always mean top pair is beat. I'd fold.

I would of made 3/4 to full pot size bet on the flop.
But as played since he is the SB, and limps in with almost anything, I'm folding when he came alive C/R-ing on the turn. At this level of play this guy has a 5. At a higher stacks table, I'd call and reevaluate at the river.

    I'll re-evaluate your mom.

I'd call and call river unless he overbets or shovels. If he checks the river you could check behind or b/f, but that is player dependent.

i'd call and re-evaluate river. probably fold to a 1/2pot bet

against a 70/3 or someone where my read is that he's passive, i make the same turn fold

I was thinking that this guy has a mid pp.

Depends on the villain, don't it?

    3 choices :
you know he's a serious guy and you put him on a 5 ===> fold
you know he's not serious guy and you put him on little something or nothing ===> re-raise to see his reaction
you don't know who is the guy ===> flat call

    And the 4th choice is:

You put him on a range based on his stats/reads/tendencies, and then you either call or fold. 3betting here is definitely the worse action imo. And anyways, you don't do it to "see his reaction".

#4 You stop putting people on a guesssed hand, assign him a proper range and maximize your equity against it.

I agree that turn raises usually mean business. Also, we all know how poor players love to bluff a paired board and to slowroll trips. That being said you´re strong enough to call turn.
