I open-raise a similar range as Spoon. Depends some on stakes. I play 10nl, and a lot of people fold too easily, especially if you're willing to 2-barrel. Blind vs. blind isn't very expensive to learn, so experiment. Generally, villains like 40/5 require a 2-barrel to get them to fold. 3-barrelling at 10nl is NOT recommended, even against a known station. Wait for a hand to take them to value town on the turn, imo.
