By speculative hands I meant mostly calling raises with 22-88 and limping behind with suited connectors.

AJ, KTs and K9s are pretty bad hands to call raises with other than against very loose villains (mostly because they are often dominated by a significant portion of the raiser's range). You can open raise AJ from MP/LP and KTs K9s in LP.

It's all situational of course. Depends on who is doing the raising, depends who is in the blinds when you steal, etc.
