Official Beginner's Circle Sweat Session Thread
What's a sweat session?
A sweat session (or sweating another player) means watching another person play and making comments on their play and thought processes. It's similar to a session review, except it happens in real time. It's another great way to help each other and share ideas about poker.
What software do I need to participate?
Most people use a free program called TeamViewer that's easily found with Google to watch other peoples screens as they play. You can also talk via audio with another free program called Skype which works like an instant messenger service but is set up to allow people to talk to each other with microphones like a telephone. You could use AIM or Yahoo IM or something like that as well if you don't want to use Skype to talk during your session.
What do I need to do to get involved?
Post here what game you play (ie: 25nl 6m) and what time of day/week you're available. Then use PMs here on the site or other instant messenging tools to set up meetings with other people who play similar stakes as you. Arrange when Player A will watch Player B (and for how long), and when Player B will watch Player A (and for how long), etc.
Feel free to post any other questions.
