Be careful what you tell a 2nl player.
He could have butchered every hand in his session of opening up and I still don't think it would be bad. If he's thinking about his game, taking a different approach to see how your decision making is altered could be very beneficial. It's all just fishing for those ah-ha! moments though.
Edit: Actually, nevermind. You're skewing the point almost intentionally.

Slevin's main problem at the moment is bankroll management and sticking to a solid, basic game to beat 2nl. What you have suggested will only hinder his process of growth right now.
