One of the very first things you should understand about donkament poker is that anytime there is a pay jump you should be trying to eliminate players especially in situations like this and especially if there was no side pot. Even if there was a side pot in this case your hand is not even close to strong enough to consider eliminating players from the pot and allowing the shorty to have a TONNE more equity since you basically just took equity from EVERYONE else including yourself and donated it to the fish.

Edit: If this was a fifty50 and you have a monster chip lead. Keeping the shorty MAY be better depending on other stacks and positions of said stacks because you may be able to abuse everybody else on the bubble.
