Default 4nl 99 in BB. vs. ep weak tight

villain is 24/17/6 cb=30 weak-tight. playing face -up for the most part.

I decide to flat here pre cause i think he folds everything but QQ+,AK to a 3b and i dont wanna play oop vs. that range.

OTF:He's not very POS aware, so i think there are a lot of T9s,89s,78s an S1g's he's opening so i decide to check the flop w/ the intention of flatting, and i also saw him ra' and FD on the flop (though it was vs a total spew-head)...... good thought?

OTT: i dont really wanna bet the A here so i feel like i turn into a station. but when he half-pots it he pretty much gives me good odds to call. the only thing is i had a hard trying to figure out what hands in his range pay me off on the river if i call...

what do you guys think? looks kind weak huh on my part huh?

I think I bet this flop and I'm betting for value against any kind of draws he might have and whilst we are probably ahead. I would bet around 0.15

As played - I fold the turn. I doubt we are ahead at this point.

I'd probably choose calling as my last option tbh. I just don't see him bluffing here ever. I believe he has something weakish but is > than your hand. I'd go raise > fold > call. Have to continue betting most rivers.

Dunno why you wanna Chk call vs a guy c betting 30%. Seems like a crap idea.
Villain is weak tight straight forward!!! Bet the flop he's not fucking with you!
Dunno what weakish hand better than ours is kmind. Looks like AJ-AK to me. Maybe some worse Ax if he has them in his opening range.

Obv this is a good bluff card but we has reads which for the purpose of this post I'm believing are solid.

Bet the flop. He's weak tight so he most likely has a big A since he's not very likely to be checking an overpair or to have open raised with a mid pair.

Since his range is weighted toward hands with an A, fold the turn.

Yeah I'm talking about AJ-AK. To me that range looks weak vs. the board facing a c/r with plenty of scare cards on the river.

I don't know. I just always try to find +EV situations when folding > call.

Sort if top of his range tho so I don't really want to try and bluff him off it.

Check villains equity with hands like AKhh. Do you still want to lead with that sizing?

What about his entire preflop range? Is he cbetting that entire range on this flop? If so, what kind of equity does he have? If not, what kind of equity does he have.

Once you've figured all that out do you still want to donk this flop?

yeah, vs. his range i'm just not nor was i super excited to bet the flop. I think we turn our hand into at least semi-blufish otf when we donk. when we donk we should do so with a plan for the turn. I'm not saying its wrong by any means, but there just seems to be a lot of turn cards we shouldn't barrel off on..

I don't think 24/17 is THAT tight. If we give Villain a range of 44+,A2s+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,ATo+,KTo+,QTo+,JTo, we are still ahead of his range and should definitely donk this flop. His cbet his pretty low so he is probably only betting when he hits & we don't like many turn cards with 99 either.

Why do we have QTo,KTo JTo in his utg range ... They aren't there.....

When I said he wasn't really pos aware i didnt mean he's raising exactly-17% open.......

it is way way tighter .... I just said there are some SC"s
so i think there are a lot of T9s,89s,78s an S1g's he's opening
VS. the range you put up there , sure I'm way ahead, and I may well be ahead now, but don't think that necessarily means an auto-cbet. I said that just didn't have a really good plan for the turn when i thought of betting the flop, and then betting/not betting certain T' cards... IDK maybe im wrong . I know i'm working hard on making plans for future streets, and if that gets me in some tricky spots or wrong spots so be it...

He is in CO? I think they are easily a part of villains range. Why would you not want to bet when we think you're ahead?

EDIT - From reading your other thread, I think you have posted in the wrong one haha

Sorry for the late reply but also consider that a lot of his draws will raise so you gain no value against them from donking.
