    Default 25k Stats Checkup 25NL-6max

Hi guys. Its been sometime i post regularly on BC due to the exams, but i have been playing some. This my stat for the month of January, ran fairly well the 1st 20k hands, but the 5k hands were a bit of some coolers, and some bad played hands, nevertheless,im not impressed by my standard.Still a lot of leaks i need to fix on 25NL.

Im going to another Stats checkup when i hit 50k hands.By then i hope i can improve on what my leaks are,and taking other people's advice.

    Here are my Stats

I really hope,i can get some feedback esp my position stats.Like my EP/LP Stats, too nitty or too loose on the SB.Thanks

Well, the most impressive stat is up 20 BI in 25k hands, so 4 ptBB/100 win rate. Nice job. Seems a bit nitty for 6max, but you're winning steadily. So I wouldn't worry too much. I'd like to see steal stats. You're W$SD is near 60, which probably means you're laying down the best hand too often. But you want that stat to be in the low 50's, minimum. So maybe you should look to expand you're stealing (don't see those stats, so I'm not sure). And look for places to float against habitual aggressors.

The biggest problem i see is that given how tight you are your W$WSF is really really low (and ties in with what Robb said about your W$SD). Are you limping/calling with a lot of SCs/PPs then playing fit or fold postflop?

What are you limping from EP btw? Is it just small PPs? Whatever it is, i'd cut it out. Raise or fold. You could probably stand to defend your BB a little more as well, i imagine your fold BB to steal must be like 90%? Anyone paying attention will be raising the button when you are the BB with practically anything so u can profitably 3bet a little more. Oh and open up more from LP u nit
There's only one system. Bet. Lose. Borrow. Steal. Lose. Take the drugs. Lose. Prison. Death.

Raise less hands from UTG and more hands from the button.. but very nice graph.. you must play very well postflop.

    Good playing.

This. I'll open any PP from any position depending on the table, but usually its just so profitable to get a caller from the blinds and take down the pot with a cbet.

Usually the only times I will limp will be if its folded to me on the button and I have a marginal stealing hand and the blinds have been defending voraciously against my stealing attempt. I'll usually just limp the button, and the sb will often come along for the ride.

But overall, nice job. Good solid win rate and you're making money!

My approach is to pretty much open raise the BTN except when one of the blinds is short stacked. You need room to outplay someone postflop when the ranges are wide. If someone only has 40bb, and is passive pre, I will limp with hands that either fit or fold post, and hope to see a cheap 3-way flop.

if this is really 6max you have to be the worlds biggest nit!

as has been said already, stop open limping. Your positional stats are way too flat across UTG - Button. You could profitably raise 2-3 times as many hands OTB as you are. Also, for someone as nitty as you, to only have a 33% W$WSF is crazy. You're seeing flops with a much stronger range than the villains your up against, and should easily have that number above 40%, probably 45%.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Wow. What they said. Your stats look like a FR Nit passive/passive. You are really only waiting for good hands to get money in. If your waiting to open up your game and aggression for the higher stakes you are gonna have some problems. I'm really not sure even how your winning with those stats, but they are very easy to adjust, it just takes a bit of change in your mindset while playing.

Yes,i believe,im laying down a lot of good hands actually. When i meet some resistance,i usually lay it down(therefore me being passive).Passiveness is actually a big leak in my game at the moment.

Trying my best to fold pp in ep nowadays, but still a minor leak in my game.I limp according to the table pf activity.Loose,i will limp.Tight,i would probably sometime raise.I mostly limp pp and adding in some scs in EP,but im starting to raise it up probably to get some value of it.

I am a huge nit.I really need to open more, but im still pretty clueless how to open up.Range of hands to open with for an example?

I believe my range is pretty much ahead on the flop.I just dont really know how to maximize my flop skills(big leak=postflop).Im starting to cbet less and according to the flop texture, whether he is passive or a station.

I am hoping to change my mindset in 25NL within a month or so after my exams.I am probably running about 14/10 which is super nitty in 6 max.I would like to open to 18/13 then gradually to 22/16.

Any extra advices, comments or even threads i could look on to improve my aggression, postflop skills or even about 6max would be good.

I am thinking of playing 50-60k hands before moving up to 50NL.Which by then,i would be able to fix a lot of my leaks.Any probably 2-3 coaching session before moving up my limit. My aim would be around Mid March.

    What do you guys think?

Post some HH's - that's the best way. Pick 2 -3 hands each session and post them to get the best feedback. If you have postflop leaks, a dozen HH's over 4 or 5 threads will make them clear.

If you haven't already used a trial at Deuces Cracked, they have a good video series called "From the Ground Up" which is targeted at beginning 6max players. Not saying you are a "beginner" but its always good to brush up on the fundamentals.

Otherwise, the 6max videos around here are pretty good as well.

My advice would be to just take two or three buyins for 10nl, and go play around with a wider opening range and see how well you do. You will probably find that you can open a fairly wide range, take down a fair amount of pots with a cbet, and hit some very hidden hands when you get played back at.
