    Default 200k Hands Checkup

Won more at 5NL than 10NL with almost half the hands.
    25NL? Meh.

Tighten up in early position, stop open-limping in MP and LP if you're doing so at all, and is this 6m or FR?

Agree with spoon - also you can probably open up a slight bit in CO.

    @spoonitnow - looks like 6m from position stats (#hands EP/MP)

    Yes it's 6m

I got the same advice in my OP a while back (I think from Robb) so I've tightened up a bit in EP and MP. I was opening 22-55 in EP and also A2s-A6s.

How close should CO and BTN be for vpip?

Opinions differ - I don't like opening more than about 12% UTG in 6m, and I prefer a couple sc's to the small pp's. I open about half those Axs, randomly selected.

With the UTG range, everyone opens the same 8%. Anything else is mainly there to benefit from the respect those top hands earn us. If we get too wide in EP, our entire range is extremely difficult to play because other players can attack us using position.

What's your opening range now in EP? If you want, playing only 77+/KQs+/AQs+ is fine for now. Also, steal more. You seem to call a lot a ton on the button? Are you limping behind on the button? I'd isolate a lot there.

I open with all of these (77+/KQs+/AQs+) and sometimes add T9s+ depending on the table.

I do call alot on the btn. I'm never really sure what to do with hands like 22-TT with a MP or CO open. Same goes for small SC's.

I need to work on my stealing. I have a tendacy to fall in love with my hand if I hit the flop. Overpairs spank my ass alot as I never put 45+ vpip villians on overpairs. They call down with overpairs as easy as they do with bottom pair.

Calling preflop depends on how tight/loose someone's range is as well as how aggressive they are postflop with the flop being the key street. So if a guy steals a lot and you on the button you can either call more or 3bet more depending on his frequencies. For example, if he's really aggressive with steals and cbets a ton but folds to 3bets often, then make your 3bet bluffing range wider and your preflop calling range much tighter than his. Think about how big of a mistake cbetting a wide range 100% into AA is. That's an EXTREME example but it should get the point across.

I don't really understand what you are saying in your last rant about stealing. Are you saying if you steal a lot you fall in love with TP when TP is probably shittier than most?

Sorry. I was in a hurry when I typed the last post.
    Let's try this again

    Button
I do call alot on the btn. I'm never really sure what to do with hands like 22-TT with a MP or CO open. I can't see 3betting 22-88 so I just call for set odds. I just added 3bet to my HEM stats. I need to add Fold to 3bet . If I don't hit the set I just shut down as I never know if I'm ahead.

I never know what to do with small SC's(<78s) on the btn with an open ahead of me so I call or fold.

    Stealing
I have a tendacy to fall in love with my hand if I hit the flop with TPWK or 2nd pair or I have a weak pp. Overpairs spank my ass alot when I have pps as I never put 45+ vpip villians on overpairs. If I have TPWK, I really get into trouble. I'll cbet, get called, half pot turn, get called, check river, then fold to good size bet (half pot or so). This happens alot. For most of July I stopped stealing without decent cards because of this. My vpip/pfr stats dropped like a rock but it seemed to be +EV considering the alternative. I've started stealing more recently.

Ok well think about what I said, it should answer this or at least make you think. But, with 22-TT against a wider range we can flat more (IP) because villains should be either a) more passive postflop and b) maniacs. With A, it's good to call because we will have showdown value + "suckout" equity when his stronger hands let us see more streets. With B, we make him be aggressive with a much weaker range than us when we hit our set on the flop.

If they have a tight range, then we need to have a tighter one. At lower stakes like yours I guess I'd flat the smaller PP even OOP (not again wide ranges) because it's easier to extract but you should be folding almost all SC's to EP opens.

Keep in mind if you have some sort of giant read, then 3betting can be an option with some of these hands. Also, don't 3bet bluff with lower PP unless they fold a TON.

This makes me sound like you bet way too often, including cbetting. If you CANNOT get value in a bet, check it behind. Seriously. Start looking to check as the PFR more when you have a showdownable hand (which sometimes is TPWK).
