How is my preflop bet-sizing?

Another issue is my river call. The check on the turn leaned his range a bit closer to queens (he would definitely have bet to protect his set, no?). With the check on the turn, is this river call ever acceptable?

I push over the BB 3b... make him play for stacks vs your TP/NFD.
1) By just calling, you now have over 1/2 your stack in the middle. So have a plan for the rest of it.
2) You have TP/NFD... you are squashing everything except sets and a flopped flush. Against the former you still have 35% equity, and the latter is not particularly likely, and you've got a re-draw on that to the nuts. Add the fact that his range prolly isn't ONLY sets and made flushes (reads would obv help here), you may have some fold equity, and the money that's already in the pot, and I think this is an easy shove.

As played, are you really thinking of folding out of a $16 pot for $3.85?

I think this is vital. We've gotta jam the flop with this hand 'cuz he'll get it in bad more often on the flop than on most turns/rivers. Just shove over and be sure to make your flush.
