They'll usually want to verify new accounts with something like this, but you'll only have to do it once. The downside is that it takes a few minutes to take the pictures and send it to them, but the upside is that this type of protection makes it so that people can't commit fraud nearly as often which could screw you out of winnings or, in the worst case scenario, have someone steal your identity and run up a bunch of credit card debt.

It can seem like a pain but it's worth the time. I had to scan documents (telephone bill, immigrant card, etc.) for each site I made an initial cashout from when I played full time here in Mexico but never had to repeat the process. You can snap a few photos and set them aside in a folder for these types of poker site requests going forward to save time.
Do you play cash games, tournaments or a combination of the two?
