but there is some truth to what he says. if the level of play offline is better than the level of play online then you will get bad beat more often because you will be putting your money in with the best hand more often.

better players get bad beat more because they are nearly always putting in there money when they're ahead of their opponent.

also, in 8 hrs at a FR table. you should be playing about 400 hands. playing only 50 hands is playing 1 in 8 hands. which is about 12.5% of hands.
you should play try multitabling. things will go faster for you. don't have to wait as long.

also, JJ isn't such a good hand. you wouldn't want to stack off with it.
also, you can afford to play pocket pairs. limp pocket 2s. if you hit your set you can try stack your opponent - and if you don't it's a very easy fold.

also, bad beats shouldn't affect your play. you should be happy every time you get bad beat because in actual fact you are making a profit (theoretically) on the hand.
if you have a large enough BR bad beats shouldn't affect you.
