It seems both sides are relying mainly on luck this game, for 3/4 wolves to be on the same page is very difficult.

Dan and bigred need to be closely watched. Rilla is almost certainly a villager.

There is no way I'm a wolf. The reason... because I put my own neck on the line, and that of supa's. I don't know his role whether I'm wolf or villager, it's a risk I would not take.

Wolves do not know who their buddies are. Thus, they must constantly worry about who they lynch. So when I do something that a0 is controversial, and b0 defines my role to them so strongly, they will jump on happily.

Rilla is clearly a villager because if he's a wolf he not going to vote TLR, because that makes rilla more vulnerable. He votes for me if he's a wolf.

So rilla wuf boog all villagers, tlr bigred and dan are my wolf picks.

If supa turns up wolf I'm gonna fist pump at least six times while shouting "woo" in a dumb American accent.

If you're a wolf there is no reason not to lynch anybody, someone's gonna get lycnhed, it makes no difference who to you as you don't know who anyone is anyway.

I'm lynching you for your initial post which helps wolf strategy.

Sh'up wolf. I did it to be mean to supa. It was an act of spite. But of course there's tactical advantages for such a play, which is why wuf tried it in the first place. Me and wuf are so obviously villagers now, which narrows the wolf pool, and widens the nom pool. Now the wolves have supa as bait, then there's me wuf and rilla all looking like good nom choices. This is a problem for the wolves. Is that why you're pissed?

"wins this crapshoot". who is it a crapshoot for: the village or the wolves? so far, nobody has commented on why the lack of specials makes it a wee bit more like a crapshoot for the village, but a few have about the wolves side being like a crapshoot. not finding a trail is also more crapshooty. then this sounds like tlr may have imposed his thoughts about how he's crapshootin as a wolf. not sure if he words it like this if he's a villager

After two failed noms, it seems like an easy choice to me. But they might not go for supa, they might go for me, or rilla, or you... so many options for them. They have to second guess what the others will do without even knowing who the others are. When someone provides them with an easy choice, I think they take it. But maybe they don't. I would if I were bigred.

While it's a questionable villager move, it's an even worse wolf move. If I were a wolf, I wouldn't put my neck on the line and risk supa, that's potentially half the wolf team. So yeah I think that my role is defined. I hope supa is a wolf, and I don't care if I die. Not wolf.

Aw cmon J, surely you can see how it could pan out tonight? Supa might get 3+ votes. oops. But maybe someone else was going to get 3+ votes, but supa now picks up one or two votes and saves the other person.

I gave them another option while making the game more fun.

I guess you'll be surprised when my role is confirmed.

I've been pretty reticent because (a) it's a crapshoot for either team although I think this blind-wolf stuff actually gives the wolves an edge, (b) I don't want to talk wolf strategy because that will only help the wolves, and (c) I'm just not as interested as normal because I feel like we're basically just rolling dice to pick people to lynch, and I don't see it improving later in the game.

I'm not going to vote for TLR this early -- he's a strong player, and having the village take out a possible strong villager now will just reduce the number of nom targets at night, making life easier for the wolves

I wish I could say the same for Ong, but I don't see any sane villager discussing wolf strategy. "Hey guys, let's give the wolves a plan so they can take out a villager for us!" Of course, maybe Ong isn't sane and actually is a villager that wants to discuss wolf strategy.

If you think supa is a wolf, then bold him and say why. What you're doing is no smarter than throwing a woman into a lake tied to a stone to see if she floats and is a witch.

Plus, even if supa doesn't die tonight, we don't really have any more information on supa -- it's entirely possible that some of the wolves choose to ignore you. After all, why would they go after supa now? If we follow your plan, he's going to die tomorrow anyway. If he's a wolf, they wasted a vote. If he's a villager, they are doing the work the village would have done anyway.

Not read thread, just ongs post. They already had multiple options, ie the whole village. Also, they were unlikely to suddenly converge their voting without someone to guide them as they're clearly in different wave lengths.

I have the same sentiments about this game as NG, I am not that excited about it, since all the standards ways of finding wolves are pointless in this game, it kind of like playing holdem when nobody can see their own hole cards

The only thing we currently know are that the wolves are 0/2, this means one of two things- either wolves went for high profile players (Rilla, JKDS, JV, maybe me) and missed, or they went after high profile players and that high profile player was a wolf, in any case neither village nor wolves have any idea which is which, so it does not really matter, nobody has any useful info to work with

I am going to stick with my vote for Wuf, given the crapshoot this game is the most logical course for any villager is to leave the high profile players alive, since this reduces the chance of the wolves actually getting a villager

This lynch is a spite lynch. You're not getting a wolf. You're moaning at me for helping the wolves, then you go and help the wolves some more by lynching a villager, and not just any villager, but one who has a record for sniffing out wolves.

Wolves didn't have the entire village as options, that's flawed thinking. Put yourself in the shoes of a wolf for just one minute... who to nom... hmmm... gizmo maybe? Nah, doubt the others will pick gizmo... hmm... bigred maybe? Again, same problem.

They picked rilla or TLR, there's no JKDS, no JV, not yet. That's who I'd be picking in this format if I were a wolf. Ask yourself, who would you pick? Yeah, rilla or TLR, every time. So maybe rilla and TLR are both villagers and they split the votes 2-2 twice, or one or both is a wolf. I think just TLR is a wolf, but I obv don't know this for sure.

What I do know is you guys are wasting your lynch on someone who tried to spice things up a bit.

Look carefully at those happy to lynch me. The wolves know I'm not a wolf because they know I don't take the risk of killing two wolves, but they also know there's a reason to lynch me. Thus, the wolves will be happy to lynch me. That's why TLR is dodging me, he's too smart. Rilla could be dodging me for the same reason, but his wolf picks seem consistent with my thinking, so I have him as a villager.

Good luck village, sorry if my fun and games backfires and we lose. I just got bored and thought it would generate some info while making the game more interesting. I think it worked, shame I couldn't save myself in the process.
