I think that courtiebee is clearly a warewolf who is just trying to throw out accusations at the last minute.

EasyT is the seer and identified courtie. He'll get killed by the wolves because the angel is probably isn't paying attention.

I think that either way, the wolves are done for because two of them are known in any scenerio (assuming Pelion isnt just a normal villager )

if there were a book, the line on easyt being the seer might have opened at 1:1 and by now its moved to like 2:1 or more. right?
the line on pelion being the seer just moved a lot closer to even.
the line on courtie being a wolf is all over the place - now at something like 1.5:1.

I think the correct way to do it is have villagers out number the wolves 4:1. Each wolf puts 20 dollars in the pot and each villager 5 dollars. Winning team (even the members who die) split up the pool.

So basically wolves each risk 20 to win 20 and villagers risk 5 to win 5.

A Villager ussually gets lynched the first 2 or 3 days. It's inevitable.

If you're afraid of lyching the seer, find the person that people are accusing the be a wolf that didn't say that he was a seer. Angel protects the seer.

If its a wolf then use your seer to find the other people.
If its the villager then kill the other seer because he's obviously a wolf.
If hes the angle then. . . oh shit

ya, i was wondering how bets, or even commentary, would loop back into the game play. i suppose it would alert a side when a given strategy is too obvious. don't wolves have to engage in more elaborate strategy than ordinary villagers (excluding seer & angel) ?? if so, wolves would probably not like commentary/bets...
so, what does pelion's concern indicate?

I hope gangstas/werewolf 2 turns out better than werewolf 1, villagers are being sloppy/unorganized and are getting outplayed by the wolves at this point. It really slows the game down when people change their minds 3 times in the course of a day...
Also, all these people claiming to be seers got me to thinking- what if the real seer announced he was a seer, but instead of correctly identifying someone, he falsely accuses a villager of being a wolf or vice versa?

Uh so far it looks like Renton is gonna be the one who gets outed next...
So hmm let me think...EasyT is highly unlikely to be either a seer or an angel, as his survival would be crucial to the villager's success...he should be inclined to protect his identity and survive for as long as he can...so he's either a villager or a werewolf...there are 18 players remaining, 1 of which is inactive (I am inclined to believe that trip is a villager, if he were a werewolf the other werewolves wouldn't put up with his shenanigans...I also don't think trip is irresponsible enough to sit out if he's a seer/angel...or maybe it's all a clever ruse )...12 of the 18 remaining players are villagers, 4 are werewolves, the seer and angel are still alive, and if we presume trip to be a villager then only 11 villagers remain in play...
Now let's suppose EasyT was a villager trying to confuse the werewolves and was try to buy the real seer some time...if that were the case, why would he come clean so quickly after Pelion claims to be the seer? Why is he so quick to believe what Pelion says? hmmmmmmm
Now let's suppose Pelion was a seer. Would it really be in his best interests to reveal his identity so early in the game, especially in such a chaotic game, with EasyT already claiming to be a seer? In fact this is about the worst time the seer could reveal his role; not only does he have no credibility, it basically commits the angel to protecting him every turn thereafter. IMO it is very counterintuitive for a seer to reveal himself at this point...
Even though neither EasyT nor Pelion voted to lynch courtiebee, this is just for deception. The werewolves wisely decided to split votes for the lynching (2 for courtie 2 for renton) so that they wont' be so conspicuous. Just my theory as of where it stands.

If the wolves believe that Pelion is the seer then they may assume that the angel will protect him. By going for Triptanes they knew they had a sure kill. As soon as they get the angel, the seer will be next to go.

Where did you get that from? I never said anything about Renton being a wolf, quite the contrary. All I said was that it looks like he's gonna be the next one gone.
Look at the people who have voted for Renton so far: Lukie, Irisheyes, Pelion, Dwarfman, flomo, sandstorm, EasyT. Now let's suppose Renton is innocent. I can say with a high percentage of likelyhood that if Renton is a non-werewolf, that the 4 werewolves have already cast their votes for him .
I am reasonably confident that I know who 3 of the werewolves are. They are EasyT, Pelion, and Lukie. Which would mean that the fourth werewolf is either sandstorm, dwarfman, flomo, or Irisheyes.

Amidst his protests, the villagers quickly string up Renton for a lynching. In hopes of some leniency in either this life or the next, at the last moment Renton cofesses all of his sins and muderous ways. This only quckens the Villager's thirst for blood, and Renton, a werewolf, is dead within minutes.

All this speculation at Pelion being a wolf istead of a seer is unfounded I believe.

I think they should let Pelion keep spitting out names because he seems to be dead on right now with Renton. If he makes a mistake (or seems to suspicously only be picking villagers), then they should be worried about him being a wolf.

He won't find another wolf for a while and he keep the Angel away from the real seer so the wolves have a chance of grabbing him.

That said, I'm CERTAIN now that sandstorm is a wolf.

How is it so certain that Sandstorm is a wolf? All he did was vote for Courtie. Was his the vote deciding or something? He voted for Renton, but I don't know if that was after it was foregone conclusion anyway...

I thought AKE was a wolf, but why would he break so obviously with the Renton lynching that was well nigh inevitable? It still looks like Prozachnation is a wolf.

Imo, the villagers are not probing enough in the early going.
It's more important to get information than results at the start. Of course, that has to be balanced with protecting the seer and angel - which tends to screw up the information.

Btw: the werewolf book is not accepting any action from Gabe in coming rounds; it welcomes all action from Fnord and Possessed, however!!

I never tried to have the thread squashed. I liked reading this thread. Everyone just assumed thats what i ment and I couldnt be bothered to argue it by that time.

All I said was if there are going to be sidebets then the people in the game shouldnt know about them.
