Naw it's not your fault. I think one of the main reasons the village lost was because those who controlled the narrative kept dying. When you control the narrative, you have to be sure of one of two things: either (1) you're building consensus and setting the village up for win or (2) you're planning on pushing people around and getting to the end. #2 has worked well for me even though it's a bad strategy, but it didn't work for the narrative controllers this game because they kept ensuring their own deaths. #1 is always a much better option than #2, but those who controlled the narrative didn't do it. They may have done it if there were night phases IMO, but without those everybody gets super paranoid. |
