I really don't see how suicide bomber is more acceptable than village rapist.

I used to sorta know how to irc script. IT would be super convenient to make werewolf bot that could record and list lynch votes, capture night time pms, etc

Yeah it wouldn't work unless everyone had a unique guest name, and in that event it wouldn't take long to figure out who was who. For example...

i would take it as a challenge to figure out who everybody is. thats my kinda detective work. i think i could do it too. there would be a couple tough ones, but everybody has quirks they dont necessarily know about |

funny thing is i have non-pathological multiple personalities. thats kind of a silly way of saying i shift my behavior quite well for the circumstances. i dont always use no-caps, in fact, i mostly use caps. i change it up a lot for the point im trying to express as well as the way im trying to have my mind think at the time |

If some mod can set it up so our posts only show up as "guest x" posting them, then I'm all up for it. But how to hide who is looking at the thread? I am set to invisible but apparently the mods (many of which play) can still it, or so I heard.

New accounts or playing on another forum or message board with different names would solve the problem. It does sound fun and it's something I'd really enjoy, even if it didn't work in the end.

Setting up a new thread away from ftr would work. There's plenty of sites we could use. Do a sign up thread here, but use another forum for the gameplaY thread.

JKDS, last year I played the werewolf variant called Mafia (that is actually the more popular variant I believe) on another forum. Interesting was that everyone had a special role. But noone knew what roles there were, even how many mafia there were, if the village was up vs 1 or 2 teams, if there was maybe a solo playing special with his own victory conditions. Much more work for the mod but also more fun for the village as everyone gets to do something. And there was a new mechanic called visiting.

I hadnt included roleblocking or jailing in my game. In your opinion, where those fun mechanics to have? My first impression of them was that they were kinda antifun for most players

Also really my game isnt spoiled. Its just the idea of many many many specials and a large amount of uncertainty is the backbone of my game

Roleblocking was cool as a mechanic. It was basically the second power of the angel. So he could protect someone, but that would also roleblock his target. So he could either try to save someone (such as an outed seer), but then the protectee couldn't use his powers, or try to roleblock a suspected mafia out of his power (where protecting him was irrelevant).
