i like this game more and more as I think about it. just realized that if the seer knows that we're about to lynch a villager, and tries strongly to defend him, he will look like a werewolf defending another werewolf. this game is tricky.

the seer just has to do what he can through persuading people within this thread to lynch/not lynch whoever. the thing is the seer is going to be acting a lot like the werewolves i would guess, as they'll all have strong opinions on who to/not to lynch at certain points.

the best case situation is we nail a werewolf or two, and the seer knows who the other two are, then he outs himself and reveals them.

Here's my thought process thus far in the game: gabe being the first one killed is actually quite interesting (sorry gabe). Depending on who the werewolves were, I expected gabe or pelion to be the first gone. Midas, myself, or bigred would not have surprised me. There were a few others it could have been, but the rest... just wasn't going to happen. I can honestly say I thought it would be gabe, and if there was a select member or two being a werewolf, it would have been pelion.

First of all, everyone who isn't a werewolf should look at the list of names in the game. I'm looking at it now, and there are a completely and 100% random group of 4 players out of the 18 whom are werewolves (I'm not, and gabe obviously isn't either). As expected, only the well known people are being accused of being a ww. Let's be honest, if you're a ww, aren't you (probably) going to try to keep a low profile? This is especially true if they are more of a low profile member. I don't think this would NECESSARILY apply to more of a natural outgoing/funny poster like bigred. Speaking of him, there's just something about what has been said and in the manner and order that it's been done that leads me to believe there's a decent chance that he's a ww. But that could just be how he acts so I'm really not sure. To be realistic, people like me, midas, trip, gabe, bigred, pelion, etc., are more likely to be killed/lynched at the start of these games. Remember, if you have a few members that don't get caught up in too much stuff in FTR in general, and who don't post very much in the ww thread, they are absolutely going to survive until the end and the ww's will most certainly win.

Even before midas said that he is a villie (which really shouldn't mean anything in this game), I really didn't think he was a WW. My first impression was that bigred and/or midas were both, but after a little bit of reasoning I think if anything, midas isn't, and I'm really not sure about bigred. I think we should definately try to keep midas alive. (hey, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, what are ya gonna do, kill me?) Obviously, there's always a chance I'm wrong, but for what I'm about to say, I'm going to assume Midas isn't a ww.

Let's talk about that Ultimate George guy. He's doing exactly what I'd expect a ww to do. He knows midas is 'innocent', so he comes on with a low profile and says to go after him. Then he gets pointed out that he needs to bold it, so he bolds it and supersizes the font kind of in a funny way. But doesn't really try to accuse anybody and just sort of goes on his way, keeping a low profile. Seriously, why would anyone accuse him of all people? There havn't been many people voting for lynches, but he was on early, so he could just kind of assume that people would just sort of go with conformity and after a few midas votes, everyone will vote for midas. Then there's the fact that it was gabe that was first killed. gabe is the only person who was offered to be a BAD ASS MOFO that doesn't sport that tag in their signature. UG would clearly trying to get some revenge. Then again it's gabe, and he was probably going to be the first gone regardless, so this might not be worth anything.

What's probably going to happen is some of you will go with me, some won't, and others won't vote. Others will probably vote against me. In any case, UG is probably alive tomorrow, and we won't know if I'm right (even though i'm somewhat confident that I am).

Anyway, for reasons I've already stated I think the best thing that the good guys can do is to rally behind me and let's oust UG. I can't make any gaurantees that I'm right, but I think there's a good chance that I am, and given that, this is definately a +EV move to make.

Here is a thought...

If the ww's happen to luckily get the healer or the seer early on, then we (good guys) are at a huge disadvantage and we're pretty much going to have to lynch people and hope for some good luck. If the ww's ever make up half the population, then the game is over, b/c you can't kill them without a majority vote.

What should happen is the seer methodically checks people out (I have a pretty good order I'd like to see this happen in, but I'll hold back on that for now), and keeps track of who's who. When the time is right (ie say 5 villies have died, he/she knows who 2 of the werewolves are, and the healer is still alive), the seer should expose who everyone is, and the angel should protect them. In this fassion, a villager (or healer) should never claim to be the seer. If a werewolf does and gives misinformation, they would be lynched. There would never be a reason for the angel to reveal themselves.

If the healer is killed before the seer exposes who everyone is, then the seer should obviously wait for as long as possible until they reveal identities. If they are killed in the meantime, well that just sucks.

Some problems with this idea:

- Both the seer and healer both have to be kept alive for a while (it takes a while to expose the identity of a good portion of the players). If we're lucky, only a decent amount of villagers would be killed in this time and we could still easily win.

- If the seer is killed early, well bleh. Pretty much game over. That is true no matter how things are run though I think.

Anyway, just an idea. To be honest, it's going to be very hard to lynch a werewolf at the start since: we need a majority vote (anyone knows what happens in the case of a 50/50 vote???), gabe is already dead, and all werewolves get votes. The best thing we can hope for (and what is probably the point), is to expose a ww in the process of voting for a lynch. By behaviours and such.

I am the seer.
I now know what one person in this game is. And I got lucky on my first "look" and found a warewolf. Courtibee is a warewolf.

Just clarification, the angel can only protect someone during the NIGHT phase. The seer can only consult to gods during the NIGHT phase and the day phase will not end until we get a majority vote to axe someone.
