Corruption Werewolf

(City Name Withheld) is a city rich with a fabulous history. It was founded long ago by a Norwegian mercenary, long before the British came to the Americas and took everything over. The city was home to a major battle during the American Revolutionary War, and is also the site of various occult rites. The architecture was often dramatic and gothic in nature, and legends about creatures similar to the "Jersey Devil" have been spawned.

As with many cities, there is crime in (City Name Withheld). Gangs began to thrive around the time of the Civil War, but the people were strong. They were resilient, cynical, and resourceful so as to help resist against all the gang violence and coercion. To this day gangs still thrive, but the people were able to keep it in check. This was perhaps most notable with the election of a500lbgorilla to the office of Mayor in 2012. In his first year, he took on and stopped more crime than any other mayor to date.

But in 2013, shortly after a press statement announcing the start of a massive city-wide corruption case, a500lbgorilla was murdered. The police determined the cause of death to be a bullet to the head, and the people of (City Name Withheld) sprang to action. The police were pushed to find the guy(s) responsible for this crime, and began one of the worst witch hunts in the history of the United States.

This day is the written record of that 2 Day hunt, and the history of corruption that followed.

So obviously we aren't being told about any special roles, if any, but it's odd not to have the number of wolves stated.

Also, what's with the words "2 day hunt"? Is this some kinda fast game? I need information!

This. Gameplay, "wolf" count, special count, etc are not the same. This is luco's second game, and chipeaters first, so I have to link some general rules. I didn't want to make the post too big though.

There's gonna be 3 or 4 wolves by the way. Don't be surprised if wolves have power roles too, they could have a role cop, who investigates villagers to see if they're special, they might have a godfather, which is a baddie who investigates as innocent to a seer/cop, and they might have a roleblocker. These are common baddie roles on mafiascum. They might also have roles like tracker and watcher, village might also have these roles. There's also a small chance of 3 wolves and one serial killer, that should become obvious after a night or two.

It's pretty standard on this other site for the village to not know how many wolves there are. On the flip side, it's unlikely that the wolves know what roles village have.

I only just read JKDS' rule page and it seems we only have an angel, vig and seer. BORING!!!

That rule page does NOT give any info regarding the special roles or special mechanics in this game. It was linked to give my general set of rules and nothing more.

You guys realize that its the rules page from past game "The Conglomerate" right? All I wanted to do was link things like how to vote and what gets you modkilled and such without having to clutter up the page.

Whatever info I am withholding from you, the general Werewolf rules apply. I promised that.

actually Ongs post seems more wolfy to me than Rongs. I think ong giving info smells of trying to help while telling us nothing. JKDS knows that some would have info about the other site and some not. So He could easily have mixed and matched games, or be leveling the whole group of us for his own pleasure. I for one will speculate on my own.

So it's been 13hrs since I looked at this this morning and there's very little action. Is Big Gay Red the only one that hasn't posted yet?

I don't hate the idea of lynching pascal since I imagine he has plenty of time on the forums being forum manager and all but has posted exactly one word so far.

Since inactivity is a modkillable offence, and since a villager modkill will deprive us our lynch, we should be looking at lynching bigred and/or chipeater if they don't show up soon. In fact we're on 48 hour days here, we haven't got the time to sit around waiting for them..
