Default Why did I get called a Rookie??

Ok. I am a total rookie and this was only my second SnG ever (which I came in 2nd BTW, thanks to everyone here being so friendly and helping me out!) but I thought I played this fairly well. Below I listed three hands and notice the guy's note calling me a rookie. I'm assuming he did this because I went all in on Ad 4C. My real intention was that I was convinced he had nothing since he had been going all in trying to build up from virtually nothing...he was pretty much out but kept hanging around and started to build back up so I decided to attack him with A4o. Was this fundimentally wrong? Also, the first hand I posted was a potential mistake on my part that might have given away my rookie level but I'd like to get an opionion playing TT the way I did. Thanks!

He called you a rookie because the odds were.....

And he was probably a little sore.

Don't get hung up on it... people call you lots of stuff.

    1) Good call - you're most likely ahead of his pushing range here
    2) The push is okay, depending on how loose the table was. The looser they are, the worse the push is
    3) Well played.

If this was only a $5 SnG (as it should have been since it was your second one), don't listen to the donks. If they were that good, they'd have won enough money to move up to the $10's. Ignore the chat and work on the game.

    or

If they call you a rookie reply with "SHhhhhhhh. I'm counting your chips"

In the second hand you only had 5X BB left in your stack, you had to push here.
The only reason hes calling you a rookie is because your A4os cracked his QQ's.
It might have been a little bit different if you called an all-in with that hand...but you pushed with it, so no worries.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with how you played your A4 there, given the blinds and your stack. He was just frustrated because you cracked him. And there was nothing wrong with your first hand posted for the same reasons - late low limit tourney a 10/10 is a good hand.

When people like that start calling names I just ignore them - it's better for my game.

The push on 2nd hand was okay, you were in push territory so depending on the table thet push is okay.

Let him call you a name, let him try to attack you, just wait for a hand and let him put the noose around his neck and kick out the chair. wow bit of a grusome analogy but it works lol

It's really important to not let what people type in the chat box rattle you. I've seen players get into such a vicious slanging match in the chat box that they don't pay attention to how they play and end up losing!
