    Default tourny review

i think i played ok in this sng but i think i'm playing to passive in late position and maybe making bluffs when theirs no need. i did ok but definatly looking to plug some leaks in my game, not really looking at ITM situation because that was no prop they played so passive. but near the bubble and early thanks

Hand 1 (QJ): I am folding this preflop. Too easy to get into a hand against KQ or AQ and be dominated.
Hand 2 (QJs): Again I am folding this preflop. UTG is raising 3x and you are UTG+1. What are you going to do is someone behind you reraises?
Hand 3 (62): I am just checking this flop and only betting if I were to make 2 pair or trips.
Hand 4 (72): You are getting odds of 7:1 to call, but I am just folding this. Others may disagree.
Hand 5 (Q8): Fold preflop. Blinds are still too low to worry about stealing them.
    Hand 6 (KT): Fold preflop.
Hand 7 (T7s): Sure it's a min raise and you are in the BB, but I think you should just fold this.
    Hand 8 (98): See Hand 5
Hand 9 (JT): I am folding this preflop. As played, after BB checks on the flop, the bet with 2nd pair is fine.
Hand 10 (66): Call preflop is good. Bet on the flop against 2 opponents I don't like. I am just checking this down.
Hand 13 (A4): I am foldling this one, little early for me to be stealing the blinds...maybe others can comment on this.
Hand 14 (JTs): You are calling almost 10% of your stack preflop here. Just fold this. Risky bet on the flop and turn as well.
Hand 15 (Q2s): I just let these go at this point.
Hand 17 (KJ): Unless you have a read on the opponent that limped, I am just folding this one preflop.
Hand 18 (K4s): Nice one...now you know what that is capable of limping with preflop from UTG.
Hand 20 (86): If you are going to play this, just shove it. BB only has about 5 big blinds left.
Hand 23 (67): What are you trying to do here calling the min raise from the SB? There is a stack at the table that is less than 5 BB. There is no need to be making these types of plays on the bubble. I know you can probably outplay this opponent, but I think it's better to wait until you are in the money.
Hand 24 (KT): If you're going to reraise, why not make it something a bit more than just the minimum? I am just getting out of the way here.
Hand 26 (QJ): If you are going to play this, just shove it. Your stack is huge and BB only has about 7 big blinds left.
Hand 27 (3A): This is a weird amount to raise, why not just shove? Or is that what you were trying to do? Don't ever be sorry for sucking out, lol.
Hands 32-35: When you are heads up and opponent has <10BB, just shove instead of making a standard raise.

Seems like your heads up opponent was pretty passive like you said so not a big problem at that point for you. I am guessing that jackobannon was sitting out the entire time?

H1- fold pre, dont limp with what you arent willing to call a raise with.
H2-fold pre, Why is QJo in position not worthy of a CC but this hand is?
    H3-Check/fold
    H4-fold
H5- Why are you raising this? There is only 60 in the pot and your risking almost 1/10th your stack? Its too early for this IMO
    H6-fold
H7- I dont mind this call if you have a stack to do it with. Your too low to be gambling
    H8-fold
    H9- fold
    H10- NH!
H11- Why are you limping 88 but raising QJ?
    H13- Why A3o but not 88?
    H15-fold
    H18- Well played
H20- Try not to limp to much when it gets down to 4 handed
    H22- Well played
    H23-fold
H24-Nice! This is a situation where min raisers are able to take down the blinds without risking a ton of chips. Nice pick up.
    H26- Fold or raise preflop
H27-This is a situation where your stack size makes all the difference. Although I am curious to why you varied your bet? Did you just want to pot commit yourself? I like this play, just curious as to your thoughts.
H36-Dont show free cards. If your opponent sees your getting crap. They might make more moves on you.
H37- I dont like limping HU
    H38- Same thing

Over all- You played well. The only real critique I have is to invest chips less often. When was your saw flop/turn%? Also what was your VP$IP?

thanks a ton, learned a lot just going through your thoughts, some of the plays i pulled were based on reads, like some of the button raises with nothin early were because i was sure that the would call with junk and fold to a c bet, but i agree to much risk for to little reward. the KT min reraise was also just based on a read he had been raising lots and but folded to many min bets plus i thought the min bet was large enough at that point to get him off. and the A3 i knew i was commited just playin with him. On Hand 10 (66) when you make a bet on that flop and he just calls are you always making a bet on the turn? no reraise tells me that he dosn't have a J and probably not a high wired pair.

it didn't say that jackobannon was sitting out so i have know clue what was going on.

the good thing is that even though i thought i played ok , their was still tons i did wrong, and could learn from so thanks again, to be honest not sure what VP$IP is exactly. i'm not sure my Flop/turn% is their anyway to check after the sng is done?

H10- He raised you which makes me think he either has the J or hes full of it. Your call was perfect because if he checks the turn or bets it weak. You can fire back and get him to fold. Normally with 66 Im looking to hit a set or fold....How I would have played it is, check behind him and be willing to call all the way down. But you played the situation is just fine.

VP$IP= voluntarily put money into pot.
You can check your % when the SnG is done. Next to the chat box on the table is a stats tab. It gives you your simple stats.

Or get poker office/poker tracker. They take care of both for you.
