eh, mobaka your post is a little confusing. Also how do we 4-bet jam facing a button open raise?
Thoughts on 3betting < ai to 900-1000. We get called wider but does our postflop fold equity with a cbet (prolly close to 100% against villains who fold sometimes) make up for this? If I have a genuine hand like AQ and i get 3bet in this situation I moan + groan and probably fold or call and hate life either way. This sizing is just so scary, I guess we could even fold if he shoves getting 2-1 (calling 2K after 3betting to 1K)
On another note, What are we looking for that makes a 3bet bluff profitable: (some ideas, please add)
*Villain has a fold button, this is crucial.
*You have a decent image
*Villain is opening wide, especially from late position
*You have additional fold equity due to icm/bubble assuming villain understands
*Your hand has some equity when called. such as suited connectors, at least one high card, small pair
*Stack sizes: your risk of calling and losing vs how much is in pot. If you are 3bet shoving all-in the I would say you want around 4-8 times (assuming sng with little/no ante value and stnd open size) the raise size. <<<made up #s, please add your thoughts. Enough good fold equity and not too much risk for a small reward.
*Also stack sizes in the above example put pressure on button because he can bubble but we will still have 2.000 chips if we lose.
You are villain and you have AQo, how fast (if) are you mucking this. He has no reason to believe I'd 3bet wider than 22+ ATs AJ KQs and maybe a suspicion that I could 3bet as bluff.
He snapcalled I found that very surprising considering he is a huge winner in both sngs and mtts.
