SNGWIZ min edge

Been doing the quiz section on SNGWIZ and i've noticed the Min Edge is set at different percentages for nearly every question.

I've read that it should be set, most of the time, on 0.5%. Some of the questions have it set as 0.2% etc etc!!

I understand that the min edge drops as players bust out and blinds increase, but is there a set % you should have it on most of the time?

Ok, perhaps it is a typo because 0.20% is less than 0.5% but your wording seems to suggest otherwise.

I have SNGPT and therefore by min edge i understand the smallest the percentage increase in $EV from folding to calling that we accept before making a shove or a call.

Assuming the above definition, I don't change my min edge at all. It may vary from table to table as some sort of intrinsical measure of a skill differential between me and other players there, and I may reduce it as buyin increases but not in different situations.

My min edge is set at 0.3% (the same as 0.30%) for the $6.50s and 0.2% for the $16s.

I play regular $5.50 9 seaters and some 6 seater $13.00 SnG's.

How should I alter the min edge for playing the 6 seaters if, say, my min edge is set at 0.5%?

why would your min edge be set that high. You will miss far too many spot like this IMO.

what should i set it at? 0.3%?

0.2% seems like a reasonable minimum for me. 0.5% is too high IMO. Edges in SNGs are very slim, I am taking a 0.5% edge every time.

I'm sure I read somewhere (possibly SNGPT forum) that 0.5% was a good % to set it at... maybe not though lol
