Default SharkScope Graphs(graph added) and my play??

So I have played like 1600 sngs, have switched stakes multiple times, sometimes too quickly(not doing that anymore), gone through some learning stages and feel/hope I have turned the corner into being a consistent winner.

Right now I am playing $11 6 max 4 tabling mainly. Overall ROI is a measly 5% and profit like $300 which is quite bad considering how many I have played(at least im not a losing player I guess).

My sharkscope graph is somewhat ridiculous.

It has extremely sharp rises and falls, huge points, shit looks like the Himalayas.

When I scope donks they usually have a gradual downward trend and the good players have a gradual uptrend. They never look like my graph.

    Reasonable sample size I assume?

What does that tell me on a deeper level about my play? Anything I can take from this beyond just knowing obvious profits, etc. ? Extreme variance? My learning stage? Being an idiot? Anyone have any ideas.

So essentially I am wondering what underlying info can be taken from the graph, if any, what it could tell you about your play, and what can you do to fix it.

Not sure how to post my graph and Im at work, will try later. Thanks for any insight.

My graph rocks at the moment

What's your username mate? Obviously you would expect some variance but it sounds like yours is very swingy for the $11s - perhaps I'm wrong mind.

Hard to say much, perhaps you're playing a higher variance style of play? People who do a lot of c/r'ing, restealing, etc can tend to run more hot and cold than those playing typical STT style ABC poker.

Over that sample size, at those stakes, I would expect someone whos been learning as they go to have a higher ROI. It probably points to leaks of some sort in your game.
Just dipping my toes back in.

Thanks for your thoughts. Im on a nice swing now playing solid Tagg poker.

anyone know how I can post my graph here? Do I need to use a third party host?

Screenshot it, upload it to imageshack or something.

Here's the graph. Huge dip is when I went broke with terrible BR management.

wow...this graph likely shows some leaks in your game. Post hands and tournies for review by these guys.

....Or, is could be terrifying variance...

Those early peaks and troughs look like they're higher buyins than the $11s to me. Did you used to jump into higher buyin tourneys earlier?

Yes, when I started out I didn't know anything about good BR management and I played some $22s and $33s when my BR did not support it.

i'd say for the last 4-500 I have been properly rolled.

Last 150 are looking good. What level are you playing right now cause it looks like you are moving in the right direction now?

graph is fine. Anyone who expects no sharp downward or upward trends is in for some suprises.

Ok, just thought it was more extreme than most I have seen and was wondering if it was cause for concern, showing something beyond regular variance.
