 IMO, if you are short-stacked in a turbo, waiting for cards is not gonna cut it.  You've gotta play the red-zone strategy from HOH2.  Don't wait around and let someone else steal enough bubble chips to get into the money.  You've gotta utilize first-in vigorish, with above avg hands.  If you miss the money by 1-2 spots (haven't we all), then that's just tough, and you probably should have been building your stack earlier on, rather than trying to get to the FT.  You've probably got 7-10 hands before the blinds go up again, so start opening AI with hands above computer...
