ne tourney player

I am entering a nl holdem tourney at the sands casino in atlantic city this Sunday. the buyin is #30 + $10 with rebuys in the first three rounds and 1 addon after the third round. i have been playing for about 3 months in live games with family(really bad players) and the $.25-.50 nl games on party poker. I play well against my family but their are no players at all. my dad called my all in bet with a pair of twos. i am a little less than break even in party poker. do you have any advice for a novice like myself going into my first live tourney.

philla, lot of good info on the tournaments section, but basically playing tight early is highly recommended
