Only thing you're worried about is 99. Flops the set and slowplays it (mistakenly) turns his boat and slow plays (sneakily) river makes him sad.

Your action was g00t but you could have juiced it up much more on the turn.

interesting point...I had him on over pair from his previous play. This was the only reason I played him preflop at all. I figured my flush would be good if it hit only three. That second pair hurt because he had slowplayed top pair twice prior. That's the only reason Ichecked. If he bet I saw a golden opp to overturn his bet with a raise should he not have the 8 or T. Tell me your thoughts on my reasoning 'rilla.

Calling preflop with a hand like 25s against what you read as an overpair is boarderline but one of those moves you have to make to win. With one other caller, it's a good move.

The flop should have really been a raise or fold situation with the draw heaby board. The only pocket pair I can really put him on would be JJ. And that's really the only hand I can put him on.

Checking the river, even with that read is good. A beaten hand probably isn't calling unless you value bet and you're giving a T a good check-raising opportunity.

Still, the only thing you did wrong was not juice it up on the turn.
