How Valuable are the Comments in the Chat Box?
I bring up this hand because the villain comment in the chat box (which, conveniently, is in the hand history for me) influenced my decision to call the all-in. It wasn't the only factor, but it did tip the scales away from the fold.
I should mention that in the previous hand, I raised 3x in the SB against the villain with rags. Villain folded. I did that because he hadn't been defending his blinds when I raised in BTN or SB. Since villain didn't call, he couldn't see that I had rags. However, I interpreted his comment as complete tilt. Although the hand history doesn't quite show it, I only noticed the comment after I made my initial button raise (it didn't impact my decision to raise the BTN there).
Just wondering how seriously I should take comments in the comment box, if I should pay any attention to it at all.
