I hadn't made a big bet like that all final table.. I figure he would feel he needed a big hand to call or raise

I was folding the river to any bet. I don't see anything that checks the river there with what was already in the pot that will call 190K more. Stack sizes were important, I also sized my turn bet to leave me with roughly what I had behind for the river bet if he checked to me.

few hands later deill A7 loses to my 99 and we chip chop it up, 11K.

    some short comments..

44: push pre, as played c/f turn.
A9: ok, checking for showdown value is ok as well.
    AJ: usually a call unless it's a nit and/or a complete 3handed donk.
    KQ: fold
    KJ: raise pre, fold turn.

yeah explain folding the AJ but calling with KQ?
  4. #4
drmc to explain why i folded AJ but called KQ.

    There were three consecutive hands.

Hand one i had raised, deill 3 bet me and i shoved AK, he called with KTs.

Very next hand he 3 bet shoves; Stacks:
Seat 6: Deill (304376 in chips)
Seat 7: Hero (639294 in chips)

    Dealt to Hero [Jc Ah]
    Hero: raises 15000 to 25000
    BigThicky: folds
Deill: raises 278376 to 303376 and is all-in

From my hands you can tell I play final tables pretty aggressively. He could have been pissed off about the previous hand, he could have been doing this with a hand that has me beat (I now see I was probably way ahead of his range) but to be honest I just had a sick feeling about the way he had bet it (either it was really slow or snapped it all in) and I didn't know what to do really.

I called with KQ because hes obviously on steaming monkey tilt when 33bb all in shoving pre.

I figured im 60/40 vs AJ and worse, tough againts AK,AQ,QQ,KK,AA and flipping againts other pairs and the rest I have beat.

Deill was a really poor player. I think AJ was a marginal mistake to fold, and i think i needed to call with KQ in the context of the previous couple hands.

I think calling 33BB with QK might demonstrate steaming monkey tilt as well.

I also don't know if you were trying to be cute with the comments u were making when you were trying to chop but it just made u look dumb.

    But very very nice score.

i dont think id ever fold KQ given the previous hand and the given opponent.

Getting in a flip because he's on steaming moneky tilt just doesn't make sense to me.

If he's a really poor player, calling with QK is even worse.

I understand its alot to call with KQ, I also could just simply outplay him for the rest of his stack instead of calling an all in with KQ; however it is hard in tournaments to know where you stand. He is bad, he could flop 2 pair to my overpair and stack me that way. His shoving range is so wide I think KQ was good enough to call. Better for me to get first crack at him then the other guy getting a 4:1 HU chip lead.

AJ fold was pretty bad but IMO the worst hands you played at the FT were the hand you flopped quads and some other hand where you flopped top pair and you won two tiny pots by betting like a wimp. If you slowplay all of your good hands then your bluffs will get snapped off by anyone close to decent, but fortunately for you your opponents weren't decent or had nothing.
